INTERESTING
I liked sitting on the bus.
I liked going down the hill.
I liked going in the bus because it was my first time.
I liked being with a lot of people, and Mum and Dad.
When I went up I saw the houses, the mountains, roads, cars and I saw trees too.
It was fun going to the NZ centre.
I liked running up the hill.
I liked playing on the grass.
It was good fun. I liked the big hills and I can see everywhere.
I liked going up and taking photos.
The hill is high and when I looked down I could see over Nelson.
That we saw the world.
It was very fun because we got to play up there.
I liked seeing the world (view)
I don’t like going up the hill because I was so tired.
I didn’t like the walking because I was tired.
It took a long time to walk there.
When I came down I couldn’t stop running and my feet were starting to hurt.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
I don’ like sitting on the bus.
It was steep going up the hill.
I liked everything.
I made a bow and arrow but the bow kept breaking, so I took it home for dad to fix.
It was a long way up the hill.
That I had to run and I don’t like running
I was kinda tired after the trip up there.
Nothing
I liked looking at the view – the houses, the mountains
I found the sign that said ‘Centre of NZ’ on the ground.
The trip on the bus, because I have not been on a bus for a long time.
I liked the view, and the white and blue clouds.
I found the NZ centre interesting because I hadn’t seen it before.
I found the view interesting.
People eating others’ food.
I found the sculpture and the mountains interesting.
I found the plants interesting, but I have seen the kauri tree before.
The sculpture was interesting because I have never seen it before.
I could see Stoke in the distance – it was a long way away.
We saw a lot of rocks and we thought we found a fossil.

The Big Bad Wolf !!

Never go to the dark freaky forest as you will  see the wolf sneaking through bush. He will use
his sharp teeth to bite you. He is fast, you will
never see him and you will never know you’re gone.

"Watch out", the wolf has razor sharp teeth like
an assassin’s blade. His brown paws are hairy like a pola bear.Mr wolf has giant hairy ears which are used for hearing danger and people.

The wolf has a big loud voice,As he goes "Aaahooooooooooooooooooo," He could scare Red Riding Hood. The wolf runs fast and never stops finding food.

Mr wolf sneaks through the bush then he will jump on you with his sharp claws. You will never feel what happened because he is fast. Mr wolf will not stop eating meat until he dies.

I will feel so afraid when l see mr wolf running fast in the freaky woods.

My thought is mr wolf is strong enough to kill other animals and he is so Evil!!!!!!!!!.

Mr wolf follows anything he like see's like Red Riding Hood and other people.

Ashin is waiting for his turn in the pool again.

Neil and his friends were in charge of the numbers.

James is ready to do back stroke.

2014 senior syndicate speeches

Aria, James, Neil and Ashin all stood up and said their speech in front of the class this term. Here is Neil's speech, full of jokes!

Hey, James, can you please stand up?
Can you guess what my speech is about?

That's right - it's not easy being me. I am going to tell you why.

Being a twin AND cleaning the house AND leaning English is not easy.

It is not easy because we get the same present for our birthday, same shoes, same clothes.
People also call us the same name, maybe because we have the same face and maybe the same colour of skin and hair.
How would you feel if you get into trouble for something that your twin did, and that's why it is hard being a twin.

The next one I would like to talk about is cleaning the house.
Cleaning the house is really hard because I have to clean birds' poo and their cage. It takes 10 minutes to clean the cage.
And I hate cleaning my room! I have to pick up my toys, my clothes and make my bed, and also have to clean the disgusting smelly toilet. And I have to wash the dishes, and I wish I could play 'minecraft', not wash the dishes!!
I have to clean the shower and the lounge, it's really hard work!
I also have to clean the garage and the backyard. That's why it's not easy cleaning the house.

There is another thing that is hard being me. That is learning English.
Do you know how many words I have to learn?
Maybe a million!
People tell me things that I don't understand.
A ball to me is something to bounce. When I read about a girl going to a fancy dress ball - guess what? -  I thought she is going to play with a bouncy ball!

Now you can see why it is hard being me. I have a twin, I have to clean the house and learn English.
If this keeps happening I will pull my hair out and scream like a girl!!!
Thank you.

TRIP TO THE W.O.W MUSEUM

There were lots of different cars and dresses

this is one dress, we were not allowed to take some photos. I don't know why.

W.O.W means World Of Wearable art
this is another dress they are all pretty special!

This car looks pretty cool because on that car is the English flag on it.

There were also old cars and they look awesome.

This car is really rusty and I don't think that it can drive.

The modern cars are also awesome because they are inside large and this got a TV and stuff like that

MY HOLIDAY IN PAIHIA, by Ture

Paihia is great for a holiday!
In Pahia I saw dolphins swimming.
We stayed in a big house.
Paihia has a nice beach with interesting shells.
I drove the boat to Russell!
We saw inside a Maori meeting house, and we watched a haka.
