Duality maps



Aadarsh made us aware how different his Fijian school was
compared to Nayland Primary 



                                            

Speedy Son!!



Son has shown his athletic skills at the recent Nayland Primary Sports day. He was third in the sprints and was second in the high jump!! Well done! Son has been selected to represent Nayland at the inter-school sports next week. Good luck!

More comings and goings


Quyen missed us and has returned to Nayland. But she now likes to be called Anna.
Bo, from Holland has been having ESOL lessons. She is in 5 years old and is in room 16.
Our latest ESOL arrival is Veisinia  who is Tongan. Veisinia was born in New Zealand and she has lived in many places.

Sam's farewell trip to the aquatic centre

Room 10 all went to the aquatic centre as a way of saying goodbye to Sam. We took along Korean lollies to share out among the kids. It was a lot of fun!

We are very sad to lose two ESOL students from Nayland Primary. Quyen now lives in Richmond and she is a new student at Richmond School. And Le has also moved to Richmond. She is attending Henley School.

School Swimming sports

In February we went over to Nayland Pool to take part in the school swimming sports. It was a great day and everyone enjoyed it. Lucas and Elise came 2nd many times!

OUR TRIP TO BROADGREEN HOUSE

At Broadgreen house there were things that from 1855. There was a dining room and a study. The servants had a room with a big fire place. The servants wore uniforms. I liked it very much. By Son





I saw a big fire place where the servants cooked their meal. By Natsu



Aadarsh says "I took the photo of the children wearing the old clothes. It was fun at Broadgreen House because we had lots of things to see."

Sam says "At Broadgreen House we were wearing old fashioned clothes. It was fun . I was wearing a cap and a waistcoat."
Tai says " at broadgreen we could dress up in olden days clothes and see some olden day things."

Recent ESOl students at Nayland

This year our school was lucky to have Lucas and Elise from Holland for 5 weeks. They are now continuing their trip around the world and will be having a wow time in Sydney.
